The Bunker continues to put together great nights of local music whilst fundraising for much-needed roof repairs continues in earnest – you have donated already, right? Dramatic rock outfit Celadore are top of the bill this month, leading a varied evening of their favorite bands to celebrate upcoming release ‘Wish Me Dead’.
Their debut single ‘Dawning’ was a strong statement about finding beauty in the world, which was followed by a string of packed-out shows in 2024, including a cosy little set at Waves festival, marking them out as ones to watch in 2025.
It will be largely a family affair, with Celadore, Post Rome, and Lottie Willis so closely linked. They all share band members, yet, out of all of these endless combinations of local musicians, will Celadore prove the most beautiful?
Bunker debutants Project Phoenix are taking this opportunity to launch themselves, showcasing their artistry and high-energy approach.
Fans of the band will recognise the new single from their live shows, as if the truth were told, Celadore have been holding their new single back for the best part of a year #RELEASETHETUNES.
According to front woman Rachel Small, the creative force behind the project, “It’s a track full of energy, which I feel hits the room each time. It’s our set opener as we can’t wait to play it every gig.
“Quite frankly it’s a sad love song. It comes from the experience of being in a relationship limbo, not knowing where you stand or what will come of your future and the emotions that come with it.
“The tune is a bit of an evolution of Celadore’s music and was a turning point in the soundscapes we wanted to create.”
Get ready to have your heart broken from 21st February when ‘Wish Me Dead’ is available on streaming services.
