After nearly two years of being on the scene and gigging around the North East, One Month Apart have released their long awaited debut single, Fade Away, produced by Bramwell Brontë, a mind that has mastered the likes of Sam Fender, leading him on to have three platinum albums.
The song follows the structure of a typical indie rock song, and provides exactly that. Jangly guitar riffs, a punchy bassline and a catchy singalong chorus; the song has an unwavering beach day patina that is perfect for reminiscing on sunny days during the winter months.
Similar to the style of Beach Bunny and Mxmtoon, the debut is a bedroom pop banger that lyrically juxtaposes its positive atmosphere, discussing how a breakup would affect both people involved.
Overall, Fade Away is an addictive easy listen, and definitely one to keep for next summers playlist.
Catch One Month Apart live at The Brand New Club, Independent on the 11th of December.
