Newcastle hard rock outfit Twin Fire have a new single out this month, the high-energy stomp Cut Loose. Written as a set opening statement of intent, this loose and groovy call to action is cut from a Kerrang-era cloth, with mega Muse riffs, quality Queens of the Stone Age licks, and big ballsy Black Label Society vocals. There’s even a catchy chant, provided by Sunderland darling Georgia McRae of Hivemind, to accentuate the angst of the era. The band say the song is an invitation to rock out, release your inhibitions and be unapologetically who you are, for who knows what the future might hold? But, for Twin Fire… the future seems bright.
