After two successful years, having been previously headlined by Labyrinthine Oceans and Pretty Velvet, Euphony Fest is making its way back to The Peacock for the third time on July 26th. Euphony is the brainchild of Milly Nicholson, founder of Sunderland based Nic Promotions, who will be accompanied by sound engineer Elle McCartney.
The lineup is chock full of local, up and coming bands such as Critch, Primaveras, and Wool, along with a couple of acoustic artists; Daniel Maple and Ruby Kelly who will be kicking off the day, so make sure you get along early to catch them!
At the top of the bill, playing their only Sunderland headline this year, will be local synth-pop band noyou. The boys have been fairly quiet since 2024, so it will be a real treat for fans to see the band for the first time in a while as well as for new listeners to get the chance to see them perform live.
Do you love going to gigs but hate staying out late? If the answer is yes, then Euphony Fest is for you. With the doors opening at 2pm and the first act heading to the stage shortly after, you can enjoy a full afternoon and evening of live, local music and still be back in time for bed. Or if you don’t fancy heading home, there will surely be an afterparty somewhere, (I vote for Mexico 70).
