SINGLE REVIEW: Golden Boy – Dossers

Reviews

By Scott Hays

Teesside’s Dossers deliver a blistering critique of societal norms with their new single, Golden Boy. This track embodies punk rock in it’s most pure form: raw, loud, and unapologetic. The five-piece channels their collective rage into a visceral, high-octane performance. The guitars are sharp, the bass is menacing, and the vocals deliver the harsh truths with confrontational clarity, capturing the frantic energy of a necessary societal reckoning.

Lyrically, Dossers tackle the issue of toxic masculinity and the systemic injustice women confront daily. For a predominantly male band to proactively turn the mirror on this subject is a powerful act of accountability that grounds Golden Boy in genuine conviction. The track isn’t just a blistering musical statement; it’s a call-to-arms for shared responsibility, delivered with the kind of sonic force needed to truly rattle the foundations of our messed up society.

Definitely worth a listen.
