SINGLE REVIEW: Jymmy Pynball & The Stuntmen – Motorbikes & Karate

Reviews

By Milly Nicholson

Motorbikes & Karate kicks off with fuzzy guitars, thumping drums and a proper cheeky bit of heavy swagger. Jymmy Pynball & The Stuntmen keep it raw rather than polished, giving it that sweaty back-room gig feel — the sort of tune that sounds class blasting out in a packed pub.

The lyrics mash biker bravado with martial-arts vibes in a way that’s a bit daft but works. The vocals are loose and full of character, adding to the rebellious edge.

The chorus lands quick and sticks in your head, though it’s over before you know it — you’ll be wanting one more lift before it finishes.

A gritty, good-fun rocker — loud and made for late-night fury or bouncing gigs. It’s also kept me going through many hours of decorating and I’m yet to get bored, which tells you everything you need to know.
