Feral North

Open up the night with a blend of high paced and energetic punk rock.

Splitbox

The room is now packed. Wall to wall can’t move packed. The three on stage are playing hard. The guitarist/vocalist is pulling shapes that a man of his age will regret the following morning. This is well written melodic punk rock drawing influence from the likes of Leatherface and mega city 4. Heavily overdriven guitar tones sit atop a punchy snarling bass and wall if drums. Very very good.

Loudmouth

The Sunderland punk rock veterans. Aggressive and noisy yet delivered by a band who have played more gigs over more years than they care to remember. Delivered with an intensity that stems from the music meaning something real to the band and audience. The chemistry between brothers Mick and Dave is apparent for all to see. Mick starts to lose his voice, he is angry and apologises, the crowd don’t care and won’t let him cut the set short “ok then you can have another two” a loud cheer then erupts.

Sunliner

Leeds based melodic punk rock clearly influenced by the likes of Hot Water Music which is in itself no bad thing. Forward thinking punk rock with a raw, but melodic edge. Vocals have a edge to them that makes them sit within the songs. The set is delivered with precision and fevered energy fine tuned by the endlessly touring. The set ends to loud applause. The crowd demand more. The guitarist has already left to go to the toilet. He returns to a round of applause and an encore.
