Gather ‘round, the full lineup for The Gathering Sounds is here!

Returning on September 26th for its ninth year, the Stockton festival will take place over seven different venues in the heart of the town centre.

Previous headliners for the festival include: Red Rum Club, Keo, and The K’s, with this year’s main stage headline slot going to Birmingham band Overpass. Sunderland boy Tom A. Smith will also be taking top spot on one of the stages, as well as Irish alt-rockers Basht and dream-pop artist TTSSFU.

The Gathering Sounds will take place across venues such as KU Stockton, The ARC Centre, The Georgian Theatre, and The Green Room, which will become a dedicated NAME stage full of Sunderland based acts from The Northern Academy of Music Education; Wool, Ruby Kelly, and Crescent are just some of the names that will be taking to this stage throughout the day.

This year’s edition of the festival will see 40+ acts take to the seven stages across Stockton, with a wide range of genres and styles on display, from the indie-pop quintet Marketplace, to the witchy, trip-hop sounds of Middlesbrough’s Moss.

Working out at less than a pound per act, this full day festival will help to support multiple grassroots organisations, as well as artists, bands, promoters, and more.

Tickets for Gathering Sounds are available online https://www.fatsoma.com/e/7q076phu/la/6kip at £29.50 (+BF)
